Kantha quilts are made in India from upcycled vintage cotton saree material with simple embroidery and vibrant colors. They are reversible and measure 55" by 85", the size for a twin sized bed or a throw blanket. Upon arrival from India, they are washed in a vinegar solution so the scent is that of fresh cotton. They are lightweight, as they are made using two or three layers of thin cotton with no batting or fill. Perfect for wrapping over your shoulders on chilly evenings or morning coffee on the deck.
