Pay no attention to the lady in the videos, I'm not a model. Trying to show these robes while they are laying flat or on a hanger just doesn't do them justice. This is the epitomy of comfort and style, to have a 'housecoat' that you can wear anywhere and get compliments wherever you go. Each one is unique, crafted in layers by skilled artisans, from the original saree to being upcycled as a quilt, then finally made into wearable art. The original saree has a rich history from its life in India, shopping at the markets, gardening, attending parties. Then it is joined with other lived-in sarees and together they take on a new life. The look is different, artistic, eclectic and original. The feel is soft, lightweight, free-spirited and cozy.
